The Lincoln Arts Council organized the 16th annual edition of the Lincoln Arts Festival last weekend at the SouthPointe Pavilions (27th & Pine Lake). Local and out state artists from different disciplines from all over the area got together to share their works. Metal sculpture, blown glass, painting, ceramics, jewelry and even wax and fiber paintings were some of the amazing works presented in this event designed to entertain all audiences while promoting the local art. Southeast Community College helped too with their Entertainment Stage, that presented a great variety of dancers and musicians from all around the world like the Orgullo Latino Mexican Dancers, the Star CIty Koshavin and the Golden Studio Band.
Kids of all ages had their space in the kid’s art tent, where they were encouraged to show their creativity with a variety of contests and freestyle painting, sharing their works and learning more about different techniques.
